Swedish Bagpipes

Post by the plod » Sun Jan 07, 2007 11:42 am

Does anyone play the swedish bagpipes? I bought plans for a set a few years ago but never got around to buying a lathe and making them.

Here is a link to the Norden Sackpipa Association of the Americas (NSAA) forums

I like the "sad" sound of these pipes.

I make them and play them as well. I rotate because I play a bunch of different instruments.. Unfortunatly I haven't played Uilleann pipes in a couple of months because I'm building a Hurdy Gurdy.
