For Sale: Dave Williams Concert Pitched Practice Set

Post by SRHill » Thu May 07, 2015 12:45 am

For sale is my Dave Williams practice Set. It consists of a Concert pitched D Chanter by Dave Williams with a C natural Key with brass and imitation ivory fittings. An excellent reed was made for it a couple of years ago by Alan Burton and it also comes with 2 extra reeds by another professional maker. The bag was made by Jackie Boyce a year or two ago and is in excellent airtight condition. The bellows were made by Andreas Rogge, they are a little older but still work excellent and is airtight as well.

Cost is $1995 USD plus exact shipping to your address.

If interested please pm or email me at: rlhill1979@yahoo.com.

Also, I can send pics, etc. if desired.

Thanks!

Hi,

Some people have emailed to enquire about the age of the chanter. I bought this chanter from a professional bagpipe player a couple of years ago and he was the first owner. I believe he said it he got it straight from Dave in the mid/late 1990's. Also, if you want to buy the chanter by itself, I would want $1695 USD plus shipping.

Thanks much!

Steve

Want to learn to play the pipes…and need a practice or half set … this set would be perfect. Are you negotiable?
THANKS:)
