more pressure when playing drones

Post by FergMaun » Sun Nov 15, 2015 4:38 pm

I resonantly got a new chanter stock from Andreas Rogge for my D fullset which I tied it in myself. Chanter stock is airtight on bag

For some reason now I have more pressure when playing drones with chanter now which I didn't have with my other
chanter bag stock.

I seem to be pumping more with bellows as could me loosing air from somewhere.

Cheers

My Rogge full set was playing great when I was playing chanter with drones with old chanter stock on bag (one I have for sale)

My Lawrence Thomson bellows is airtight and working fine with the Ray Sloan bag.

It must be to do with the new chanter stock on bag now that I tied in.

I can't find any leaks from any other stocks on bag.

Will send bag to Ray Sloan and get chanter stock tied in and also get checked other stocks on bag for leaks or re tie again.

Cheers
