Best leather for flapper on bellows valve

Postby FergMaun » Thu Nov 27, 2014 10:20 am

What thickest is best.

On my L Thomson flapper it is around 3.5 mm to 3.6 mm thick he uses thin leather piece "green" with a thicker piece "brown" glued on top.
On my A Rogge valve I have Thomson flapper and have super glued a thin piece of bass.
