Looking for info on a few of makers

Post by csacwp » Thu Sep 17, 2015 9:48 pm

I'm looking to upgrade from my Pat Sky practice set. I'm really interested in three sets of pipes currently for sale- an Alan Ginsberg D full set, a Bruce Childress half set, and a 1976 full set by J.J. Malony. I've heard mixed opinions about Ginsberg's pipes and I know nothing about Malony, so any information would be appreciated. As for Childress, the consensus seems to be positive, but once again I can't find any reviews. The Malony set seems to sound quite good from the recordings I received. I can't find any recordings of Ginsberg D sets to listen to, and the only recordings on youtube of Childress pipes are of beginners playing practice sets.

Guys, I also like malony set for it's better sound. Here, you can found different pipes, which delivered a great sound.
