Stockholm pipes

Post by piperwannabe » Thu Mar 26, 2015 11:41 pm

What ever happened to the supposed Coyne made set of pipes in Stockholm? Last I heard the people who went there to examine it were going to make drawings available of them and I'm still interested in seeing those drawings just for my own curiosity.

It is intended to publish the drawings and photographs in the Sean Reid Society Journal. Drawings are around 3/4 complete and delays have been due to some fairly serious health issues I have had to contend with as well as trying keep my pipe making business running. Fortunately am on the mend now and getting back up to full speed in the workshop
New Website now live at http://www.uilleann-pipes.co.uk. It is still under construction with more to be added
My original website http://www.bagpipeworld.co.uk remains in place as historical

Your health comes first. I honestly wouldn't have had this thought if it weren't for the fact that I am preparing to build a replica of the 18th century Kenna pipes in the SRS journal. The bug has bit me again and I probably won't be able to stop with only having built one set.
