Mr. Gumby dreamt of pipers last night. Andy Conroy was there and he was coming at me in his karate gear, black belt and all. He wanted me to play and I'd better have it right when I did.

This morning when I put the old practice set on, this is what came out.

Thank you for your attention. I am still a bit shaken.

Very interesting - waltz time tunes sound very good on the pipes. This is the kind of playing I'd like to hear more often.

94°and 70% humidity. Got to let out more hot air.

Another experiment in tonal combinations including some scruntchy reg chords against one open reg. Some "Banshee F#s" in there too (from the same family of notes that gave you Ghost D, and Supernatural C).

I guess so ( ?).

This instrument has been around for more than a couple hundred years. That's more than a couple hundred years of farting around. I'm sure there's nothing new under the sun. 8)

Anyway, there will be a write up of this particular farting around in the upcoming Pipers' Review (complete with explicit photos that leave nothing to the imagination :D ).

the things is that everytime the end of my reg blew off and there was that drone off it, I always reached down and put the end back on. I didn't hear or see the possibility there that you did. Such is the difference between an innovator and myself!!!

In memory of Bernard Grigsby may he RIP. This was recorded in my son's bedroom on the spur of the moment during one of his visits with me:
The Fairy Child.
