Thanks to Rich, Dale and Alan

Post by PJ » Tue Apr 05, 2005 12:17 pm

Amid all the excitement of getting a dedicated Uilleann Pipes forum off the ground, I don't think I'm alone in wanting to thank Rich Dale and Alan for having put up with us all on the C&F forum. They did sterling work.

I agree, and it is one of the reasons I wanted to move so fast getting this forum established. They did a great job of bringing the world's pipers together. I didn't wan to lose that. Thanks guys.

Yep, well done them.
Can't help feeling sad, though. Might have to go and play a suitable lament....

Yup- may have done us a favor in the long run; but they all did a bunch of work that should be commended

We should also keep in mind that the UP forum on C&F holds a huge amount of very valuable information (beside those hot tempered threads). See it as some kind of archive... I hope it will be still available for some time.
I learned a lot and didn't lose courage to torture these tricky wooden sticks, Thies
