Yes basically it is. It's a vax model so I think it has good filtering.

Vacuum Sanding Box

Someone somewhere recently metioned sanding boxes, I can't find the post but nonetheless I decided to have a go at it. I made this one out of scrap wood and can recommend the idea to all sanders out there. Here is a video I made of it in use.

Re: Bass Drone Too Loud

A non-destructive start could be to tie on some sticky waxed hemp/sinew next to the current bridle to shorten and close the tongue and then add weight to the tongue to flatten pich.

Re: Pastoral Pipes maker identification please help

If the chanter finger holes are lined with metal, what would be the reasoning behind that? Covering mistakes, preventing wear, chimney, aesthetics! I've seen it on wooden flutes but don't know why.

Note that Martin said at the time of selling them that they are sharp. They can still ream a bore and when the time comes can be sharpened either by hand or professionally done.

Just had a quick look at that page and the fingering chart shows fingering for low A, high A and high B not as found in some beginners fingering charts. I'm not saying they are not bona fide and good rather just may be confusing for a beginner.

Re: Gun Drilling

Dirk,
I notice what appears to be a filter drier on the air hose. Does this get clogged with oil ( depending on compressor type), stifle airflow, remove much moisture, last long, and are they expensive?
cheers
