Thanks i will definitely need to look into the tail stock adjustment. I am not real sure how to do that, but i bet youtube has some pointers on that. I am worried a bit about my base, i built it out 4x4 lumber, and a table top. with several support struts. but it only weighs about 60 or 70 pounds. I...

narrow or wide bore

How would I know if my chanter is considered a narrow bore d, or a wide bore d? I have a couple chanters and want to make sure that i am reeding them in the right fashion.

Thanks i have been using hobby tubing, i just order some copper sheet to roll some staple, though i think i will need a smaller mandrel for a smaller staple. i have never really rolled any staple before so i hope it goes well. i have been watching Benedict Koehler's reed videos. thanks for your help...
