If possible: a few 'system avatars' to choose from for those that wish to use one but don't have any means (read: too lazy) to upload a personal one.
I prefer not to use one.

Davy stopped pipemaking a few years ago and his website was offline. He remade the website recently (many awesome pictures) but indicated he wasn't accepting any new orders. I haven't seen it in over a month, perhaps his status has changed. Were you looking to buy a new set should he open his books ...

Isn't there a log of users and IP addresses to the system? Hopefully, you can see when the files were deleted and who was here at the time.

The best we can agree on is the wooden top insulates the reed better than metal and this 'may' have an effect on reducing temperature change reed related problems.

The reason why the text on Davy Stephenson's website isn't visable is because he had white letters on a picture background. Now that most of the pictures and background image(s) are gone his text appears invisible. No cryptic messages or hidden treasure... Sorry. The one picture I wanted is the scan...

Davy Stephenson had some detailed reedmaking information on his (now defunct) website. There is a tiny bit of information captured on an archive machine. I suggest making copies of what remains in the archive before it's totally lost. Here is a link to the reedmaking pages: http://web.archive.org/we...

Re: HUGE FAVOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Could everyone do me a huge favor and check if you can log in and post to the forums - portions of the database were corrupted in the server failure last week. You can reply to this message if everything is OK or email me at jwall@everestkc.net if you can't get in. Thanks, Jeff It's working fine fr...

This can be argued either way and there are many things to consider. Are talking about a longer bag or a bag that is completely larger in length and height? This remains constant: The same amount of air is needed to play the set using the same pressure. It is a factor of the reeds and design of the ...

Re: in a rut

I am in a major rut right now..... Jeff... don't worry that will soon pass. Try topping what I have. Three weeks ago, after jogging I started doing crunches. I stopped around 25 or so because I was getting extremely dizzy. The left side of my head felt tingly and my left ear felt like it was fillin...

Too late. They're already on a brown truck headed your way.
These reeds actually work. So, you can test them in your chanter.

Ask the questions BEFORE you spend the money. Yes? For example: If you're really tall and the set you're trying out (at that Tionol we're talking about) doesn't fit right you may order the drone stock made longer so the placement of the regulators is most comfortable for you. It may be as simple as ...
